We have booked The Bali Driver’s service for 2 and a half days while we were in Bali. On the first day, Didi was the one who drove us around. The first thing that we did was to look for a money changer. Didi brought us to an authorized money changer near our villa but we hesitated as we saw a better rate in one of the smaller shops. Didi advised us to be careful and count our money properly because these smaller money changers can be “magicians” and swindlers. True enough, the moment we reached the car, we counted our money again (we counted it twice before leaving the shop) and we were missing 800,000 Rupiah! Good thing Didi advised us to count it again otherwise, it would have been too late. From that point on, we trusted and followed Didi’s recommendations. He is very easy to talk to, a good conversationalist. He was also our official photographer that day.

As Didi had a meeting and TV appearance (he’s also a social media marketer) the following day, he nicely arranged another driver for us for the next 1 and a half days. We got Alit as our driver and he is also equally nice! He never complained even if we had to ask him to wait for us for more than an hour while we were shopping. He was always smiling and very pleasant to talk to. He recommended a lovely place to eat lunch with an amazing view near Mt. Batur volcano and we weren’t disappointed at all. The food was great and the view was spectacular!

Overall, we would highly recommend getting the services of The Bali Driver. They are very easy to talk to and are sincere in being able to assist you, even without extra costs. They will assure that you are comfortable and are enjoying your stay in Bali. Bali wouldn’t have been as nice if we didn’t get to meet such kind hearted people as Didi and Alit. We will definitely be getting them again when we go back.
